Can Lodg do my overdue taxes and how?
What Are Overdue Taxes?
Overdue taxes are tax returns that were due to be filed with Inland Revenue (IRD) in previous periods but haven’t been submitted yet.
These may include:
-
Income Tax returns
-
GST returns
-
One or multiple outstanding tax periods
Leaving tax returns overdue may result in penalties or interest from IRD, so it’s best to address them as soon as possible.

Fees and Payment
Lodg does not charge automatically when you submit an overdue tax return.
After reviewing your request, our accounting team will determine the fee based on:
-
The type of tax (Income Tax or GST)
-
The number of overdue periods
You’ll then receive a quote/invoice via Lodg. Work will begin only after payment is completed.
** Please note:
-
Fees are separate from any IRD penalties or interest
-
Lodg will always confirm the cost with you before proceeding
** Important Notes:
-
Overdue tax returns may attract penalties or interest from IRD
-
Filing sooner can help reduce additional charges
Lodg will always keep you informed before submitting anything on your behalf
